Loong Foong, arguably one of my most favorite stalls in Uptown. Most of the time, I'm always on the hunt for cheap food in Uptown because, well I'm on a budget (saving up my money to conquer the world). And Loong Foong is one of the few cheap places to have my fill. I usually come here on the weekends. My all time favorite foods here are the char kuey teow and the curry noodles. Both priced at around Rm5, i consider the price very reasonable as the the portions are quite generous. The uncle manning the curry noodles stall is awesome because he gives a lot of liu (e.g. Fish balls, fish cakes, fu chuk and tofu) with the noodles. The curry is yummy, not too spicy. I always find myself drinking up the soup after every meal. I'm grateful for this shop because it reminds me a little of food in my hometown.
